Fossil Ridge High School, Fort Collins, Colorado

BHA Design worked with RB+B Architects to develop Fort Collins' newest high school using sustainable design practices. This 1800-student high school incorporates several innovative site features including bioswales in parking lots, use of raw water for site irrigation, and dry wells to allow site drainage to recharge the groundwater system. Native and xeric plant species were used throughout the site. This school opened August 2004.
