Fort Collins Streetscapes, Fort Collins, Colorado

 

BHA Design has an extended contract with the City of Fort Collins for the design of its downtown streets.  Located in a National Historic District, Linden Street had to be sensitively designed to fit the character of “Old Town”.  As a part of this effort, sidewalks were widened from 9 feet to 16 feet, and an extensive area of historically important sandstone paving was inventoried and restored.  The project focus was on providing a colorful and inviting street image as an extension of Old Town Square.
